DoMyTax accounting specializes in remote accounting services for firms in the Czech Republic for over 15 years. We have received the highest level of certification - Tax advisory and have attracted more than 350 companies for permanent service. Communication with clients and partners is conducted in three languages: Czech, Russian, and English. The company employs 25 professionals, including 14 high-class accountants.
**What will you do?**:
Strategy:
- Working closely with CEO on short and mid term strategic plan, providing input for accounting department
- Responsibility for implementation and delivery of approved strategy and KPIs
- Providing key company financial reports in a timely manner (monthly, quarterly, annualy)
- Working closely with sales department on creation and implementation of a growth plan to increase revenue from the existing client base;
- Maximization of the departments profitability based on key metrics (cost of customer service, churn rate, LTV, customer satisfaction rate, etc.);
- Regular revision of the companys pricing policy based on the assessment of competitors prices, inflation expectations, and the margin of sold services.
- Product management, regular revision on performance and proposal on changes in the product portfolio (existing and new)
Leadership:
- Creation and implementation of an individual revenue plan for each employee and maximization of this indicator;
- Regular mentoring, training and professional development of employees; assessing team needs and proposing action steps to management
- Conducting regular meetings with team members; clearly communicating goals and performance
- Annual assessment of employee perforamance and creation of their growth plan for the next year.
Operations:
- Ensuring service of the growing client base in interaction with the sales department;
- Creating a monthly report on the departments plan execution with its key metrics, implementing a plan to improve metrics;
- Creating a monthly management report on the companys activities within a given deadline;
- Control and closure of reporting for DoMyTax accounting, and DoMyTax services;
- Approval of salaries and bonuses for company employees, Planning, control, and reduction of the level of accounts receivable;
- Resolution of service quality issues and customer churn;
- Ensuring the operation of CRM, digitization of processes, and automation of accountants work;
- Appointment of an accountant/executor to new clients and orders and control of order execution;
- Preparation and implementation of accounting methodologies;
- Control of the compilation and entry of payment calendars into the DMT and DoMyTax database, suspension of tariffs, and complete cessation of service;
- Consulting accountants, sales team, and clients;
- Resolution of economic issues for the department and the company as a whole: office equipment, products, organization of holidays, birthday greetings, and ordering gifts;
**Who are we looking for?**:
We are looking for an experienced senior accountant who will take over our accountant team and work closely with the management team to improve internal operations, revenue growth and profitability. We expect an independent self driven manager who is business savvy, strong with numbers and able to back their decision with in-depth analysis and data. At the same time, you will lead a big team of accountants ranging from junior to senior level. Strong leadership is expected and necessary in this role. Since we have an international team and clients you need to be able to communicate in Czech, Russian and English.
Qualification:
- University degree (preferably in Economics or Finance) or equivalent experience (6+ years in accounting)
- 8+ years in accounting (14+ without degree), official tax advisor or accounting certification a big plus
- 3+ years experience as senior accountant / head accountant
- 3+ years experience in leading a team of 5+ employees
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Czech at B2 level minimum, preferably C+ level
- Russian at B2 level minimum, preferably C+ level
- English at B2 level
