POPIS POZICE:
POSITION: Senior Manager, Global Category Electronics and Electrical in a corporate environment

RESPONSIBILITY FOR: creating, developing, and ensuring the application of the commodity strategy on a global scale.

- Partner with regional buyers, guiding them towards excellence in procurement practices
- Develop a comprehensive Category Strategy, integrating product development roadmaps, global market intelligence, supplier evaluations, and cost reduction initiatives
- Lead cost reduction initiatives and projects across the global category
- Coordinate global category activities, ensuring alignment with regional needs and specifications
- Negotiate global contracts to secure consistent supply and competitive terms
- Provide invaluable Global Market Intelligence, enabling informed decision-making across the organization
- Steer spot buys and ensure business continuity during shortages or unforeseen challenges
- Evaluate and manage global suppliers as strategic partners, driving both efficiency and innovation

POŽADAVKY:
- BA/BS in business or engineering, with 7+ years of experience
- MA/MS degree with 5+ years of experience
- 7+ years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain leadership
- Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated thought leadership, with the ability to lead analysis and resolution of complex problems, evaluating both tangible and intangible variables
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
