**About the role**
Established Accounts Payable professional. Processes invoices and disbursements, compiles and maintains Accounts Payable reports and entries, compares budget and actual costs and prepares financial reporting. The Functional Support Lead will review, triage and action clearing of invoices in SAP Ariba.

**Requirements**:
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to develop and implement standardized, global processes
- High energy and positive leader even while working under pressure
- Experience working in SAP S4 HANA and/or SAP Ariba
- Basic knowledge of VAT, Sales & Use Tax and Withholding Tax regimes and how they operate
**Responsibilities**
- Play a critical role in supporting a steady state for Carrier’s SAP Ariba indirect procurement spend system and processes
- Act as the key link between CBS and multiple functions to resolve AP invoices failing
- Review error and exception reports from Ariba and SAP S4 HANA to identify invoices failing
- Triage and investigate reasons for errors/exceptions
- Work with multiple functions to troubleshoot reasons for errors
- Provide instruction to multiple functions on necessary actions and next steps required to clear errors/exception
- Monitor and update relevant ServiceNow incidents raised by Carrier Users in respect of these errors/exceptions
- Create standard processes and document key “error types” and steps to share with relevant functions
**Who Youll Work With**
- All levels of the organization across multiple functions including Carrier Business Services AP, BU AP, Deloitte AMS Support, Finance, CFIN SAP, KPMG Indirect Tax and Carrier Tax Teams
- External Advisor in the short term who will knowledge share to you the process of error/exception review and triage.
