**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Functional Safety Management: Manage functional safety activities for one or more items, including planning, organization, and reporting, such as safety plan creation, reporting/escalation, and preparation of release recommendations.
- Hazard Analyses and Risk Assessments: Moderate hazard analyses, risk assessments, and other safety analyses for electronic systems such as chassis systems, ADAS, and battery systems.
- Impact Analyses and Reviews: Execute impact analyses and reviews of carry-over projects, tailoring processes, and defining changes, including modification of safety concepts and refinement of requirements.
- Supplier Monitoring: Monitor suppliers in the context of functional safety, including scope agreement, DIA, self-assessment rating, and review of work products and processes.
- Test Plan Preparation: Prepare test plans and specifications based on criteria resulting from safety concepts.
- Hardware and Software
- Safety Integrity: Support and/or review hardware and software safety integrity according to ISO 26262-5 and ISO 26262-6.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with international project teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of functional safety activities.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelors or Masters degree with a technical focus in Information Technologies, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering, or a relevant related field. Knowledge of SOTIF, such as ISO/PAS 21448, is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Functional Safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or other related standards.
- Experience with failure analysis methodologies, such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA. Working experience with V-model development and software quality management, such as ASPICE, is an advantage. Previous working experience in automotive electronics, including control units, buses, communication interfaces and protocols, diagnosis, AUTOSAR, is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are considered a plus.
