GL Accountant
Processing of incoming invoices (between 30-50%)
Posting of selected bank statements (local + foreign currency)
Accounting for credit card movements (overhead purchases + travel expenses)
Treasury and valuables management (petty cash only)
Preparation of VAT, KH, SH returns + checks
Static reporting for the company
Participation in statutory, US GAAP, internal, SOX and other audits
Participation in monthly financial statements + checking balance sheet account balances
Supporting the Chief Accountant and other members of the accounting and controlling team
A high school/university degree in economics
Knowledge of Czech accounting legislation, orientation in VAT issues an advantage
Experience in a similar position (ideally in an international manufacturing company) for at least 2 years
Knowledge of English language at an intermediate level (B1+)
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of Oracle R12 environment an advantage
Logical thinking, diligence, independence and detail orientation
Experience with accounting in international accounting standards is advantage
