**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
The Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) belongs to one of the main pillars of Global Finance which is Global Finance Infrastructure. The Global Finance Shared Services Environment allows SAP to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness as well as quality of the finance processes while delivering global end-to-end process standards.
Within GFSS, the Revenue Accounting COE (Center of Expertise) members are experienced Accountants that proactively and collectively perform the tasks they are assigned to for a number of countries.
Being part of GFSS, COE members are responsible to deliver the best quality services to all internal customers supported by the organization.
This role reports to the Revenue Accounting COE manager working within a virtual global team with the other COE members.
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
As a member of the GFSS, you will be able to accelerate your accounting profession to the next level by focusing on the dedicated process group that you would be assigned to.
In addition, this role offers many development opportunities on other skills and competencies that will help you shape your future career path as you engaged in activities such as global projects, process improvement initiatives, standardization initiatives, etc., alongside with your core responsibilities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for providing timely and financial reporting data based on IFRS15 Group accounting rules.
- Verify and monitor correctness of revenue accounting relevant data.
- Contribute to process improvement ideas and/or initiatives.
- Manage relationship within internal stakeholders.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of IFRS15 or similar accounting rules and principles is preferred
- Dynamic, Innovative and Problem Resolution focused
- Strong business partnering skills
- Eager to work in an international environment
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system, especially FI/CO module is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Professionally Qualified Accountant
- At least 2 years of practical accounting experience (finance function in company or audit firm)
