Are you a driven and dynamic Finance Manager looking for your next challenge? Then this could the role for you! We are looking for a Finance Manager to join team of our client in Frankfurt, Germany.

job description:

• responsibility for the financial control of German offices, manage the local financial control, treasury, statutory reporting, reconciliations and taxation compliance
• cooperation with the wider group finance team based in Europe and US to support group reporting, partner finances, cross border taxes and budgeting, as well as providing financial support to the German Office Managing Partners
• management of the German Finance team of six, consisting of three accounting specialists and three billing specialists, in order to control the German books ensuring accuracy of daily, monthly and annual reporting
• assistance in identifying opportunities and taking the lead in driving process improvements and efficiencies, as well as managing other finance related projects
• other duties may be assigned as required to support the wider team according to the needs of the business, truly no two days will be the same!

who we are looking for

• at least 5 years experience working within a similar finance management role, preferably within legal services or other professional services organisation
• fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• strong people and project management skills, adapting your work style while working on a number of time sensitive projects.
• exhibiting a confident and professional approach, utilising your excellent communication skills to work with, and build trust-based relationships with, a wide range of stakeholders
• problem solver, delivery focused, compliance aware and able to manage a local team, continuing to build a high performing, cohesive team environment.
