**The Position**
The **Engineer Operations - Advanced Engineering** is focused on automation, robotization and digitization for the factory and service use. The key contribution is to define, create, validate and implement solutions that improves productivity and throughput in line with the industry 4.0+ principles. Besides the technical skills the role also requires high level of dedication, passion, and collaboration in innovative problem solving. Handling the customer expectations and satisfaction is needed for the successful job execution.
**Detailed Work content**:
- Provides technical contribution and represents the voice of customer in the automation, robotization and digitization projects
- Defines, collects, and submits new ideas and requirements for automated work
- Tests, validates, and implements newly developed elements in SW and HW
- Defines new way of working strategy that benefits from automated features
- Provides feedback and ideas to the Advanced engineering/RnD teams working on autonomous solutions
**General work**:
- Delivers automation and productivity improvement activities from inception to completion.
- Acts as an advisor to peers and project resources to meet schedules, goals and/or resolves technical problems
- Develops close relationships with Manufacturing, Operations Engineering, GTS, PLM, Quality and R&D
- Ensures that activities are carried out according to the principle of “Customer focus in all that we do” and “First time right” approach
- Adheres to work safety, fire safety, hygiene of work and other regulatory standards. Clean and maintain work area and consigned tools
- Performs all activities according to Sarbanes-Oxley directives, rules and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
**The Requirements**
**General requirements**:
- University degree in a technical field, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills
- Willingness to work in high-tech industry manufacturing environment
- Cultivating partnership inside the organization
- Must have ability to obtain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as required (up to 10% of working time)
- Fluent in English and local language (verbal and in writing)
**Specific requirements**:
- Typically, 2-5 years of technical experience in high-tech industry environment in service, development, or manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience participating or managing concurrent technical projects
- Ability to provide clear and concise analysis of data and experimental methods that may involve multiple factors
- Self-starter who is also highly productive when not supervised to meet the agreed objectives
- Ability to work in teams and share or learn from others
- Ability to resolve issues that involve gaining cooperation of multi-functional departments and cross-sites while cultivating relationships
- Shows excellent written and verbal communication skills in peer to peer interaction as well as in networking with senior internal and external personnel
