**DevOps/SRE Engineer**
An innovative, high-growth SaaS company focused on transforming business operations with cutting-edge AI and user-friendly interfaces is seeking a **DevOps/SRE Engineer**. This is a key role within a team dedicated to scaling infrastructure for terabyte-sized datasets and high user volume, all while ensuring the platform can support major enterprise clients.
As part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you’ll be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and working closely with the development team to enhance operational efficiencies.
**Tech Stack Overview**:
- **Infrastructure**: Kubernetes on AWS, GitOps for deployments, Terraform for IaC.
- **Monitoring**: Prometheus and Grafana for infrastructure insights.
- **Middleware**: RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL as the primary databases.
- **Languages**: Primarily Python for the backend, TypeScript on the frontend.
- **Architecture**: A microservices-oriented approach.
**Responsibilities**:
- Platform Management_
- Develop, manage, and optimize the core platform on AWS, ensuring resilience and reliability.
- Take full ownership of the platform’s performance and stability.
- Application Deployment_
- Monitoring and Support_
- Implement monitoring solutions to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Standardization and Best Practices_
- Create and enforce standardized deployment procedures, promoting consistent and quality releases.
- Develop and uphold best practices for the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement_
- Actively explore and integrate new infrastructure technologies that enhance scalability and reliability.
- Support an agile, iterative approach to system improvements in line with evolving needs.
- Collaboration_
- Meet with the team in Prague biweekly to align on project goals and tasks.
- Comfortable in dynamic environments, where requirements and infrastructure can shift rapidly.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud technologies is a must.
- Skilled in guiding and supporting development teams.
- Open to experimentation and adoption of new technologies.
- Solution-oriented, able to balance design quality with practical time constraints.
- Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills.
