**Responsibilities**:
Partner with solution architects to evaluate, implement, and qualify new technologies especially in the Snowflake ecosystem.
Design and develop highly scalable data models
Sound understanding of Data Warehousing principles and ETL concepts such as incremental loads
**Familiar with any one programming language ex**: Python, JavaScript etc.
Write complex SQL queries to extract data from Snowflake and perform data analysis and reporting tasks. This may include aggregations, joins, subqueries, and advanced SQL functions.
Monitor Snowflakes performance, resource utilization, and data loads to identify and resolve issues. Analyze query execution plans, optimize resource allocation, and work closely with the infrastructure team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality data solutions.
**Required Education and Experience**:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in computer science, business, or related field + 3 years of related experience and training in the specific technologies and programming languages that will be used for development
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Knowledge of orchestration tools, e.g. Airflow, control-M etc.
Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline, Gitlab, Jenkins etc.
Experience with Snowflake concepts, e.g. travel secure views, streams, tasks
**Additional Skills**:
Strong SQL skills with good exposure to analytics and windowing functions, performance tuning and query optimization
Strong written and verbal communication skills (i.e., English language)
Knowledge in Data warehousing and Data Integration concepts
Strong skills in Data modelling and creating highly scalable data marts.
Experience building data pipelines and working on Data migration projects.
