**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
The purpose of the Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) organization is to deliver services that drive customer experience. We aspire to become a world-class Finance services organization that creates value for our customers.
We are looking for a data analyst/ scientist to join the central GFSS People & Business Success (PBS) Team. Its mission is to ensure and drive a consistent framework for GFSS’s strategy, its execution, quality management and steering, people and culture, as well as communication and change management.
As part of the GFSS PBS Team, you will play a key role in leading the evolution and development of an integrated suite of steering and management metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the GFSS organization. You will lead the development and rollout of aligned scorecards/ dashboards/ analytics assets with financial and non-financial insights supporting GFSS to become a data-driven organization. In your role, you will be presenting your insights to the executive leaders and assist with data-driven decision making in alignment with SAP’s strategy. Furthermore, you will be closely collaborating with leaders and employees across all levels of the organization - within and outside of GFSS.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop a financial steering model to define, and set the respective financial targets and goals across the GFSS end-to-end processes.
- Lead the development and rollout of aligned scorecards/ dashboards/ analytics assets with financial and non-financial insights to become a data-driven organization.
- Proactively lead and support activities such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysis of the financial steering KPIs to ensure optimal financial performance.
- Define IT requirements for system and process improvement to make data insights a self-service.
- Support the strategic projects with respective data insights and guidance to improve operational excellence and customer success.
- Ensure transparency and compliance with financial guidelines.
**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Exceptional analytical skills and profound experiences in gathering, analyzing, and preparing data insights.
- Strategic and outside-of-the-box thinking combined with the ability to structure and break down complex topics into outcome-oriented actions.
- Excellent business partnering and negotiation skills.
- Excellent C-level communication and presentation skills.
- Resilient working attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure in Finance (e.g., Controlling, Strategic Financial Planning).
- Previous working experience in a COO or similar area preferred, with an excellent understanding of Finance organization and its core processes.
- Experience in communication and presentation towards executive board and senior executives, ability to summarize complex issues and derive clear recommendations.
- Experience in driving significant change to reliable business outcomes, and with high customer and employee satisfaction.
- Experience in global and virtual teams across multiple lines of businesses, geographies, and cultures.
