**ABOUT THE TEAM**
SAP must comply with relevant laws when processing personal data. Such compliance is relevant for SAP to meet the expectations of authorities, auditors, customers, investors, and business partners and to gain the necessary trust of employees, applicants, customers, suppliers, other individuals and the general public in the data protection compliant processing of their personal data.
The Data Protection Audit & Cross-Collaboration collaborates with a wide-ranging global network and supports all SAP business units and SAP legal entities to run efficiently and compliantly. This comprises but is not limited to the compliance improvement of SAP´s Data Protection Management System and the underlying DP Control Framework, the execution of internal audits, supplier compliance verification and the Collaboration Office being the interface to our DPP Community.
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
As a Data Protection Specialist in the dynamic Data Protection Audit & Cross-Collaboration team, you will act as main driver for data protection compliance and trusted advisor for business specific data protection topics. In this role your primary tasks will include:
- Support and manage data protection related inquiries in the DPP ticket system
(Shared Service Framework)
- Forward to and/or align data protection cases with other stakeholder to support SAP’s business units and other requestors inside and outside of SAP
- Contributes to data protection cross projects in cooperation with other teams
- Builds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP (Data Protection Community)
- Support and drive roll-out activities to the DPP community concerning new requirements, guidelines and processes
- Monitoring and reviewing of data protection compliance based on defined processes / standards
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, business information or adjacent disciplines (university or university of applied sciences)
- Strong analytical skills to drive root cause analysis for complex problems
- Motivation to work both as an individual and collaboratively in virtual teams
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Project management skills
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Professional experience in a relevant area
- International experience would be an asset for collaboration with multi-national teams
- Experience in data protection and privacy, data management and/or audit is a plus
Due to the extended requirements of the data protection regulations, intense consulting and control of all business units is required. Following the organizational changes of the board structure and the growth of the company, additional staff is required. This position can be filled as part time position.
