Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer, who has a strong background in data management, SQL, APIs, data vizualizations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data integration, transformation, and automation processes using our ETL platform, Keboola, with Snowflake DWH. This role requires a proactive and communicative person who can work independently, troubleshoot various issues, and optimize our workflows to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction: Extraction of data from a wide range of internal systems using various connectors, APIs, uploads.
• Data Transformation: Design and implement ETL processes to transform raw data into meaningful insights using Keboola.
• Data Integration: Connect multiple data sources. Create and understand contents of our datasets, support our Data Analyst with creation of meaningful reports.
• Automation: Automate recurring tasks and processes using Keboola’s automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve issues related to data pipelines, integrations, and transformations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our data analyst, internal IT team, finance team, and other stakeholders.
• Documentation: Document all processes, workflows, and data models to ensure transparency and continuity.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Data/BI engineer
• Technical Skills: Database/DWH design and best practices, SQL, API knowledge, knowledge of Keboola platform is a big advantage, though not required.
• Data Skills: Strong understanding of data management principles, ETL processes, and data modelling. Experience with a data visualization tool (PowerBI, Tableau)
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively, with a keen eye for detail.
