• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
• 3+ years working experience in the field of Data & Analytics, preferably in regulated environments
• profound data architecture & technology knowledge, data engineering (Azure Cloud Services, in particular Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Key Vaults, Blob Storage, Databricks, plus Snowflake, potentially also legacy stack SAP Hana, Python, R)
• Excellent and extensive SQL knowledge
• profound knowledge of Git / Github; In particular how to design and operate CI/CD workflows based on Github actions
• profound knowledge on how to design, to develop, and to deploy Microsoft database projects incl. use of tools like Azure DevOps and Microsoft Goals
• profound data content knowledge in the respective business area
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgement.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, active listening, consulting, challenging, presentation skills
• Basic understanding of IT / IT quality processes, as well as of process improvement frameworks (i.e. ISO, ITIL, Cobit, Six Sigma)
• Education: degree in Business, Science, IT or equivalent knowledge.
• English: fluent (both written and spoken)
• Ability to collaborate and partner in international / cross functional teams.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Warsaw Digital Hub!

Our Business Intelligence / Transparency team within Bayers global Strategy & Transformation department is driving data based decision making and automation for the IT Eco System.

In the role of Data Engineer you are the go-to-person for Global Enabling Function IT Strategy & Transformation data. You will ensure reliable access to various data sources and enable implementation of data & analytics use cases. The role will provide varied challenges, that require both technical and soft skills in international teams.
