Customs Operations Manager
Požadavky: We are representing a global business services provider that delivers digital and customer-oriented solutions across a range of sectors. They are currently seeking an experienced Customs Manager to lead their customs operations within a dynamic, multinational environment. As a Customs Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing customs compliance, overseeing daily operations, and leading a team to ensure efficient and timely clearance of shipments. The role also involves developing strategies to optimize and offshore certain customs processes, working closely with internal departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
what you will do:
* Lead and mentor the customs team, driving productivity and service levels.
* Ensure compliance with customs regulations and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
* Identify and implement process improvements, including offshoring opportunities, to enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to senior leadership on performance and strategy.
who we are looking for
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, logistics, supply chain).
* Proven experience in customs management, ideally within an international setting.
* Experience in people management
* Strong knowledge of customs regulations.
* Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
