Credit/otc Manager
**Join Our Team as Credit/OTC Manager**
**Purpose of the role**:
The Credit/OTC Manager is responsible for leading credit control and accounts receivables to ensure the smooth daily operation of the business for the specific market.
These roles will be managing a team that works across the order-to-cash process from a finance perspective. They will have significant contributions to mitigating financial risks, collecting receivables, and minimizing overdue compiling Credit Management processes and procedures.
The Credit/OTC Managers are expected to manage the escalation of customers or supplier issues and their teams to ensure they are performing activities in line with credit policy.
They will collaborate with the Regional Process Owner of OTC to implement harmonized processes from the local market and across the region.
**On a daily basis you will**:
- Ensure customer creation and compliance with established policies.
- Oversee the billing and invoicing process, ensuring adherence to agreed guidelines.
- Monitor and reduce unapplied cash, formulating strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with markets to reduce collection amounts and share best practices.
- Ensure all overdue invoices follow the defined customer dunning process.
- Ensure payment plans align with the approved matrix from market finance teams.
- Review customer risk profiles during economic events and take necessary mitigating actions.
- Oversee credit-related month-end tasks and enforce AR process procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve credit processes, leveraging automation and technology.
- Lead a team of credit analysts, ensuring performance goals are met and fostering a high-performance culture.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other area
- Finance certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)/equivalent local professional qualification is advantageous.
- 5 years of experience working as a Credit or Accounts Receivable Manager in a large FMCG company.
- A good understanding of credit processes within each European market is a distinct advantage.
- English on a business professional level
- Advanced IT/excel skills, prior SAP or equivalent is an advantage
