**About the role**
- As the _Commodity Buyer _for Carrier, you’ll _be _responsible for the designated commodities. You will act_ as a professional in the field of supplier management._

**Requirements**:
We are looking for people who are creative, proactive, decision-makers, team workers and effective communicators. **If this is you, get in touch!**
**As a minimum you must have**:
- Sourcing / Supply chain experience (direct negotiating with suppliers)
- English language (daily use)
**Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have**:
- University education
- Technical background
- Knowledge of Czech / German language
- Knowledge of SAP
- Advanced user level of Excel
**Responsibilities**
As a Commodity Buyer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Communication and negotiations with suppliers
- Close cooperation with R&D on new product launch new project into production
- Management and development of the supplier base including market research
- Support to develop commodity strategies, new projects launch
- Lead contract negotiations incl. evaluation of contract performance
- Monitor and manage the risks of supply base
- Implement supplier quality KPI´s and strategies
