We are looking for a CMDB Specialist responsible for managing and developing the VIG CMDB. 💚 Your role will involve ensuring data quality, providing training and consultations, contributing to the implementation of new features, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and analyze data quality in the VIG CMDB (CIs, attributes, and relationships), address discrepancies and ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date data.
* Organize regular meetings with CMDB Specialists from local VIG companies to consult on data discrepancies and support their resolution.
* Provide expertise, training and consultations on the VIG CMDB solution and related IT Configuration Management process within GCC and to local CMDB and IT specialists across the VIG Group, driving adoption across local VIG entities.
* Identify and resolve incidents or technical issues in CMDB data and/or data collection (discovery and/or integration) in collaboration with Platform GCC.
* Collaborate with VIG CMDB stakeholders to identify requirements and development opportunities.
* Collaborate on implementation of planned projects and enhancements by preparing technical design and testing new functionalities.
* Maintain up to date VIG CMDB documentation.
* Monitor the functionality of the CMDB solution and IT Configuration Management processes.

What you will need:

* Czech/Slovak – native speaker, English – working proficiency
* Very good knowledge of IT Configuration Management processes and/or ITIL practices
* Very good knowledge of CMDB (knowledge of ServiceNow platform is an advantage)
* Experience with data analysis and good knowledge of Excel
* Knowledge of IT discovery principles (knowledge of ServiceNow horizontal and ACC discovery is an advantage).
* Experience and working knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, virtualization, containerization, OS, application SW, public cloud services, etc.)
* Basic knowledge of agile methodology or other methods of software development.
* Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage
