Catalyst Mro Program Manager
Job Description Summary
Responsible for ensuring Catalyst MRO facilities are fully compliant and operational to perform program defined repairs of the Catalyst engine at entry into service (EIS). Engage and drive execution with global network to ensure timely execution of key milestones leading up to EIS. Work closely with Catalyst program, GEAC staff, ATMRO leadership, Services, and Product Support Engineering to ensure repair capability alignment with the overall program strategy and customer CTQs. Continue to find and implement ways of improving repair turn times, cost, and quality. Define and implement Catalyst vendor repair strategy. Provide weekly status reports of key program metrics to Catalyst leadership.
**Job Description**:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Accountable for Catalyst MRO readiness at EIS.
- Lead cross functional teams to ensure MRO facilities achieve FAA and EASA part 145 repair certification prior to Catalyst EIS.
- Lead cross functional teams to ensure facilities have operationalized all engine repair capabilities defined by the Catalyst program. These capabilities include but are not limited to disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly, and acceptance testing.
- Spare parts - Work closely with materials organization to ensure spare part forecasting, fulfillment and warehousing is in place to support Catalyst engine repairs.
- Repairs
- Identify and validate repair investments required to improve key business metrics.
- Work with sourcing to identify and negotiate contractual terms with repair sources.
- Lead cross functional teams to ensure repair facilities have operationalized and achieved FAA and EASA part 145 repair certification for all repair capabilities defined by the Catalyst program prior to Catalyst program requirements.
- Identify and lead projects to meet and exceed customer contractual turn-around-time requirements for Catalyst repairs.
- Identify and lead projects to reduce Catalyst repair costs.
- Identify and lead projects to improve Catalyst repair quality.
- Ensure vendor repairs are operationalized for processes required by the Catalyst program.
- MRO Performance
- Identify and lead projects to meet and exceed customer contractual turn-around-time requirements for Catalyst engine repairs.
- Identify and lead projects to reduce Catalyst engine repair costs.
- Identify and lead projects to improve Catalyst engine repair quality.
- Engine Containers - Coordinate with the tooling group to ensure adequate shipping and storage containers are available for lease and customer engines.
- MRO Status Reporting - Weekly leadership reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- Substantial experience in Product Management
- Fluent in English
