We are seeking a Calibration Assistant to join our team in the automotive industry. As a Calibration Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the calibration and emission testing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in vehicle testing procedures.
Your Tasks:
- Preparation and execution of emission tests on vehicle roller test-bench
- Engine/Transmission Controller Unit set-up (flashing, failure readout, OBD readout)
- Test and vehicle planning for emission tests
- Provide logistic support and make workshop arrangements
- Install measurement equipment
- Supervise/measure emission tests
- Perform simple failure analysis and error recovery during tests
- Reporting and plausibility checks of test results
**Qualifications**
- Completed vocational training as a technician in mechatronics, vehicle technology, or appropriate field
- First experience with measurement equipment and combustion engines and controls
- First experience in calibration and/or automotive control systems
- Knowledge of relevant calibration tools like ETAS INCA (not mandatory)
- Independent way of working and good communication skills
- Good English knowledge, both verbal and written (German is an advantage)
- Driving license class B
