The role:
**SoftwareONE **is actively seeking an experienced, commercially minded ITAM Business Development Executive, with a focus on
**Software Asset Management (SAM)**
The BDE identifies, develops, and lands opportunities for defined portfolio elements in cooperation with the Account Management team. The BDE’s focus is new business with both new and existing customers.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Establishing relationships with new and existing customers and securing new business within the licensing business
- Close cooperation with our Sales team
- Managing the entire sales cycle from initial customer approach to contract close
- Collaborating with stakeholders from IT to C-level, understanding business requirements and customer challenges
- Collaborating with the Services team and IT experts
- Collaborating with marketing on presentations/presentations for conferences, webinars, etc.
What we need to see from you:
- You´re a highly motivated and results-oriented person
- We appreciate a University degree in business/IT or comparable education or relevant experience in ITAM/SLM/SAM
- Experience in IT Asset Management / Software Lifecycle Management / Software Asset Management is key
- Knowledge of at least one of the vendors - Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP
- Experience in selling or working with ITAM / SAM tools such as SNOW, Flexera, ServiceNow, and similar is an advantage
- Experience in preparing, presenting formal proposals to customers and conducting meetings
- Knowledge and market orientation and maintaining awareness of current IT trends
