Backend Software Engineer - Java

**As a Backend Software Engineer roles and responsibilities on a typical day might include the following**:
- Responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements, designing, and implementing core components for real-world marketing automation platform.
- Ensuring high product quality through rigorous code reviews and unit tests
- Fixing bugs and implementing enhancements
- Taking ownership of a significant product component in design and implementation
**Qualifications and**
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years experience working with J2EE technology
- Some experience in one of Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes
- Ability to operate in a POSIX environment
**Bonus Skills**:
- Kafka, Scylla experience
- Personally driven in the field
