Associate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our distributed systems. You will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement solutions that improve our systems stability and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of both software development and systems operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate distributed systems software
- Debug software issues and conduct root cause analyses (RCAs)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to discuss and implement technical solutions
- Monitor and manage system performance using modern observability tools Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Automate operational tasks to enhance system reliability and scalability
Required Experience
- 1+ years of experience in programming and/or operating distributed systems software
- 1+ years of experience programming in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, or.NET
- 1+ years of experience debugging software issues and performing root cause analyses (RCAs)
- Ability to break down and discuss technical issues and solutions with non-technical team members
- Experience with modern observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, Splunk
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS, Azure.
