Associate Controller/controller for Business Area

**What youll do**
- Actively lead various activities to ensure overall financial performance, such as financial forecasting, budgeting, quarter end close and cost allocations
- Be a business partner to business units in the SAP Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations organization, work out key messages from in-depth analysis and recommend action items to the management
- Support transformation and change in respective units to achieve financial targets, identify risks, and support mitigation measures
- Support and lead further projects to increase automation and simplify the processes in the controlling as well as in the SCD&O environment
- Engage in preparation and financial validation of strategic and operational business cases
- Ensure transparency and compliance with financial guidelines
**What you bring**

- You have a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business administration or finance related studies, major in controlling is preferred.
- You have functional work experience in (preferably cloud) controlling.
- You speak English fluently, German is a plus.
- You’re known for acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.
- You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the table.
- You are willing to present in front of senior management.
- You are self-managed, pragmatic, reliable and have a professional working style.
- You are a team player, and you consider feedback as a gift.

The BAC Cloud & Infrastructure team is actively engaged in harmonizing financial management of SAP’s internal and external cloud infrastructure, including the operations of data centers and the technical platforms for all SAP Cloud solutions & services worldwide, as well as financial steering of the internal IT portfolio. We are a cross-generational & international team consisting of 15 employees & spread over Europe & North America, currently working mainly in a virtual mode.
This position offers an attractive mixture of classical business partnering activities, supporting top executives within the SAP Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations organization, as well as extended responsibility to drive critical cloud related analysis & reporting.
