We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Reporting Manager with Hungarian for an international shared services center located in Prague. The role involves overseeing financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple markets, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving process improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

what you will do

  • Lead and mentor GL and reporting teams, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and local statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.
  • Drive change and transformation initiatives, focusing on process optimization and technology implementation.


who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent preferred).
  • Finance and accounting experience, including leadership in shared services.
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian and English at a professional level.
  • Experience in financial systems such as SAP or HFM and advanced Excel skills.
  • A background in managing statutory reporting and financial operations for local markets.
