Accounting Manager

**Position Overview**:
The International Accounting Manager is responsible for: 1) the accounting of transactions into the administration of the respective companies by leading the various finance people while adhering to the Dover group accounting policies and procedures. 2) the timely closing of the months and reporting into the respective reporting systems of Belvac and Dover group such as DRS, Cadency and others. 3) Prepare the analysis of results of the companies against budget, forecasts and annual plan. 4) be the communication cross point for corporate Belvac as well as Dover finance teams as well as auditors and other external stakeholders related to the international companies. 5) Support Manufacturing, Sales, and Corporate personnel regarding the finance impact of operational issues, inventory management, asset management and business profitability.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for closing the books of the International companies and generating financial statements on monthly and or as needed basis according Belvac and Dover rules and guidelines.
- Feed into a common platform of seeing the consolidated international results in conjunction with Belvac USA.
- Prepare the international locations annual budget and periodic financial projections, AOP etc.
- Prepare, process and analysis of monthly financial results. Work closely with various personnel in reviewing the results. Help define the expectations and reporting/analytical requirements.
- Collections of all AR across international business and maintain partner with operations to maintain adequate WC and DSO
- Assist in preparing the various reports as required by the Business, including capital projects, cost savings, financial metrics, monthly presentations, etc.
- Proactively support all functional areas and corporate personnel regarding inventory management, asset management and business profitability.
- Calculating/filing the various monthly tax requirements like VAT, Corp Income Tax and other regulatory requirements.
- Accurate Cost and inventory analysis as required at all international locations.
- Further define and optimize the group’s business needs through developing standard processes and best practices.
- Implement reporting process changes that monitor both financial and non-financial indicators.
- Lead staff and set objectives
- Interface inside the organization for group rules and guidelines, external stakeholders such as banks, governmental offices, internal & external auditors as required.
- Assist in maintaining/validating SOX procedures.
**Education**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics and Management with previous experience in an manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in developing cost standards at the work center level along with reporting various manufacturing and operational metrics is required.
**Experience**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Exposure to Access and Power Point is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Must be creative, with a can do attitude.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve deadlines while working with changing priorities is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and solve practical problems.
- Experience with fully integrated ERP software with the ability to seek out basic system functionally that will enhance end user processes.
- Must be able to interact across Functional work boundaries, lead a team, and communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
