The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions and the financial
services area.
**Core duties and Responsibilities**:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Manage relationship with external company in charge of accounting.
- Month and end-year closing processes, and managing relationship with external auditors.
- Authorize payments, monitor cash flows.
- Ensuring successful completion of the company´s tax declaration submission.
- Issuing intra-group invoices.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and provide internal clients with required analysis.
- Generally assist and support management in key financial processes.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, principles and checks.
- Manage team of accounting department, conduct performance evaluation, process new hiring, etc
**Work Experience Requirements**:
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- Excellent computer skills on MS Office.
- 3+ years of proven accounting experience in finance.
- Leadership experience is an advantage.
- Demonstrate experience in driving continuous improvement.
- Business-level Czech/English language skills (speaking and writing).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required.
**Education Requirements**:
- Education in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
- Master degree in accounting or finance.
